The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) carried out a major suicide attack on Chinese citizens near Karachi International Airport in Pakistan on Sunday night. Three people, including two Chinese citizens, lost their lives in this attack. 17 others are injured. Meanwhile, China appealed to its citizens to reconsider their visit to Pakistan.

Chinese citizens should avoid traveling here

The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan issued an advisory on Monday. It said that people should reconsider their travel to Pakistan. Chinese citizens should especially avoid travelling to Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Recently, several attacks have been carried out in these provinces targeting Chinese citizens and projects.

400 Chinese engineers returned

Let us tell you that on Sunday night at around 11 pm, a big explosion took place near Karachi Airport in Sindh province of Pakistan. Chinese engineers and investors were targeted in this attack. Later the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) took responsibility for the attack. Meanwhile, China has called back its 400 citizens living in Pakistan. According to the information, 250 Chinese engineers from Balochistan and 150 from Gilgit Baltistan have returned to their homeland.

Will leave no stone unturned: Shahbaz

China put pressure on the Pakistan government to take strict action against the attackers. On the other hand, Pakistan reiterated its commitment to the safety of Chinese citizens. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that no stone will be left unturned to ensure the safety of Chinese citizens.

BLA is attacking Chinese citizens

BLA is continuously targeting Chinese citizens in Balochistan and Sindh. This separatist organization has carried out many attacks before this. BLA has also carried out a deadly attack on the Chinese Consulate in Karachi in 2018.
