Maha Kumbh Mela 2025: A meeting of the Akhada Parishad was held in Prayagraj today on Sunday (6 October) regarding the fair of Maha Kumbh 2025. In this meeting, a demand was made to ban the entry of Muslims in Maha Kumbh, 13 Akharas have decided that ID should be mandatory in Kumbh. The saints placed this demand in front of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

According to the council members, Muslims roam around posing as saints and enter the Garba festival by hiding their identity. Therefore, it is important that anyone who comes to the Prayagraj Mahakumbh should be investigated. Anyone can enter the Mahakumbh fair wearing a mask and pollute the Sanatan culture and tradition. After the meeting in Prayagraj, the saints of 13 Akharas announced that entry to the Mahakumbh should be given by showing identity cards and only Sanatanis should be allowed entry.

On the other hand, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made a big announcement on Sunday in Prayagraj in the presence of representatives and officials of all 13 akhadas, Khak-Chowk tradition, Dandibara tradition and Acharyabara tradition. CM Yogi announced that during Maha Kumbh 2025, meat and liquor will not be sold within the classical boundary of Prayagraj. He said that the whole world will witness the Sanatan Indian culture in the Maha Kumbh. The government is dedicated to the respect of Sanatan tradition.

The Chief Minister said that every saint and devotee who comes to Maha Kumbh with the desire to take bath in the holy Triveni Sangam will get to see the uninterrupted and clean Ganga-Yamuna. Efforts are being made at the government level to ensure cleanliness of the holy rivers, but the cooperation of the sadhu-saint community is also expected.

Chief Minister Yogi also said that land will soon be reserved in Prayagraj for the burial of saints and sages who will die during the Maha Kumbh. The Chief Minister said that the progress of Sanatan society is possible only under the guidance of saints. Everyone will have to contribute to make Maha Kumbh 2025 even more grand than Kumbh 2019.
