New Delhi: In the recent past, Salman Khan has been in the news for death threats apart from his professional life. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his gang have become a sworn enemy of Bhaijaan. The actor gets threats every day and news of incidents of house attacks also keep coming out. 

But after the murder of Salman Khan's friend and National Congress Party leader Baba Siddique late night, the matter has become more serious. Lawrence Gang has taken the responsibility of Baba Siddique's murder in a viral post on social media, in which Salman is also mentioned. In this article, let us understand in detail about the enmity between Salman Khan and Lawrence Bishnoi. 

26 year old dispute

In 1998, Salman Khan was shooting for his film Hum Saath Saath Hain in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. During that time, Salman was arrested by the police from the set. The reason was the blackbuck hunting case, because on the basis of eyewitness statements, Salman along with his friends (Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Neelam Kothari) had gone in a white gypsy to hunt blackbuck in Kankani village of Bhavad town, about 40 kilometers away from the set.

The matter became more serious when the remains of a blackbuck were found at the place where Salman was staying. Salman Khan was also jailed and he remained behind bars for a long time, then came out on bail. For a long time his name remained in controversies regarding the 26-year-old blackbuck hunting case. However, after this incident, the Bishnoi community of Rajasthan became angry with Salman. 

Why did Lawrence become Salman's sworn enemy?

Now a big question arises that why gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is after Salman Khan's life and has become his enemy. On 5 April 2018, the court sentenced Salman Khan to 5 years in the blackbuck hunting case and Bhaijaan was sent to Jodhpur Central Jail. However, Salman was released on bail with a bond of 50 thousand rupees just 2 days later.

On the other hand, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who is in jail, enters the case and threatens to kill Salman Khan because according to him, Salman has hunted an animal (black buck) which the Bishnoi community considers sacred and worships like a god. Since then, Lawrence and his gang have been the sworn enemies of Bhaijaan.

There was an option of forgiveness 

In an interview to a TV channel, Lawrence Bishnoi had said that he and his community will forgive Salman Khan. But for that, he will have to come to the main temple (Muktidham Muqaam) of Bishnoi community in Bikaner, Rajasthan and apologize with folded hands, then something will be thought about his account. However, the matter of enmity between Salman and Bishnoi is getting more serious now.
