Why are patients of global diseases found first in Kerala?
Why do patients of global diseases come to Kerala first? The reason for this is that Kerala has an NRI population of about 22 lakhs. According to 'Deccan Herald', a large part of them are those who work in Gulf countries. Also, the number of students going abroad to get education is also the highest.
This is the reason why the country's first Covid case in 2020 was found in a student who came from China. Actually, Malayalis are present all over the world. Due to this, the health sector of Kerala state remains most alert when any rare disease spreads in any part of the country.
