News Topical, Digital Desk : 43 voter ID cards were found on Tuesday night near the official residence of Union Minister and local MP Dr. Virendra Kumar located on Civil Line Road in Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, some of the cards were in a burnt condition.

After the matter came to light, the administration team arrived and the card was confiscated. The administration has suspected misuse of voter ID cards in this case. Tikamgarh Collector has ordered an inquiry into the matter.

Union minister's residence is near the employee's house

The ID cards were found in front of the government house in the round quarter of an employee posted in the district office of the health department. The residence of the Union Minister is near the employee's house.

It is suspected that these cards may have been used to avail some scheme of the health department. It is being told that MP representative Vivek Chaturvedi himself has informed the administration about the matter.

All voter cards are in police custody

Tehsildar Satyendra Singh Gurjar, Patwari and administrative team reached the spot. Tikamgarh Collector Vivek Shrotiya has ordered an inquiry considering the seriousness of the whole matter. At present, all the cards are in the custody of the administration and it is being investigated how so many voter ID cards reached the bungalow of the Union Minister.
