The actress has talked many times about how she does not like to participate in award functions because it is only for TRP. A star performs and then gets an award. At the same time, you would not have seen Emraan Hashmi, known as the serial kisser, in any award function.

Now the actor spoke in a podcast interview on this matter and gave his opinion. In an interview given to Shubhankar Mishra, Imran was seen taking a dig at the actress. 

Awards shows suck

During this time, Imran was talked about award functions. He was asked if he also finds award shows useless like Kangana. Giving his opinion on this, the actor said, 'Maybe she is saying this because awards stopped coming after that. I remember that once I won an award but soon I understood the whole game behind it. It is a kind of deal, if you are performing then it is a different thing.'

I can't pat myself on the back

Imran further said, 'Right now I will not say that this is not good, I will not refuse the award, those who want to decorate their living room should do so, go and perform. I cannot pat my back that I have given such a performance because this is a lie. If you have performed well then you will definitely get the award. What is the use of winning if it is like a barter system.'

Let us tell you that Kangana made her debut with Emraan Hashmi in the film Gangster. She also received an award for this film. However, now the actress is calling such shows useless, and Emraan has indirectly targeted her on this matter.
