The actor also worked with Amitabh Bachchan in the psychological thriller TV show, Yudh. In a recent conversation with Screen, Avinash revealed an incident during the shooting and told that he accidentally hit Big B on the head.

Avinash Tiwari himself revealed the incident due to which he felt embarrassed and told that this was the first time he met Amitabh Bachchan, and they had to do an action sequence together. The actor revealed, '"The first time we (he and Amitabh Bachchan) met we had to do an action sequence. I had never done an action sequence in my life at that time. In that scene, he had to punch me and I had to bend and give him back. I only hit him on the head but the embarrassment I felt at that time, I have still not recovered from it."
There was silence on the set
Avinash Tiwari further told that there was complete silence on the set after this incident. He said, "There was complete silence on the set and I went to throw another punch because he did not say cut. It was an actor's instinct that took over. I went to him and said sorry. He said, 'Yes, you hit me on the head.' I apologized and in a panic I asked him if we should rehearse and he, still holding his head back, looked at me like, 'Where did you get this man from.' He said, 'But we will do it slowly.' He told me that action is like choreography so just dance.'

Avinash Tiwari told about his journey in the industry that he was pursuing a degree in engineering when he decided that he wanted to become an actor. He recalled that he had no idea about the entertainment industry and its nuances, so he enrolled in Mr. Barry John in Delhi and then moved to the New York Film Academy.
