Meerut. Five-six miscreants entered the house in Swami Pada located at Budhana Gate on Sunday at 4:30 pm and started looting. When the mother resisted, they killed the daughter and injured her. When the younger daughter returned from duty, she screamed after seeing the condition of the house. There were red marks of blood all around the house.

father died 20 years ago

Savita Swaroop, wife of Shiv Swaroop (65) lives in Swamipara of Kotwali with two daughters Mona and Dolly (40). Savita's husband Shiv Swaroop was an engineer in the Water Corporation, he died 20 years ago. 

In her place, daughter Mona got a job. Younger daughter Dolly also has a private job. Both the sisters were not married. Dolly left for work at 12 noon on Sunday. When she returned home at around 4:30 in the evening, sister Mona and mother Savita were lying soaked in blood. 

Seeing the horrifying scene, she screamed. Hearing the noise, neighbour Babli and others reached the spot and saw that Mona had died and Savita was writhing in pain. 

Murder after robbery: Police

On information from people, Kotwali police station in-charge, CO Kotwali Ashutosh Kumar and SP City Ayush Vikram Singh reached the spot. Police sent Savita to medical hospital. 

SP City Ayush Vikram Singh said that the entire case is being investigated. CCTV cameras installed nearby are being examined. It is believed that the murder was committed after robbery. Mona's mother Savita Swaroop was also attacked on the head.
