According to the Panchang, the Panchami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Margashirsha month will start on 05 December at 12:49 pm and will end the next day i.e. on 06 December at 12:07 pm. In such a situation, Vivah Panchami will be celebrated on 06 December (Kab Hai Vivah Panchami 2024). On this day, the wedding anniversary of Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita is celebrated.

Vivah Panchami Puja Vidhi (Vidhi of the fifth day of marriage)
- After taking a bath in the morning, clean the temple. After this, offer water to the Sun God.
- Purify the house and temple by sprinkling Ganga water.
- Spread a clean cloth on the stand and install the idol of Lord Shri Ram and Mother Sita.
- Now decorate them with beautiful clothes and jewellery.
- Offer a garland of flowers.
- Light a lamp of desi ghee, perform aarti and chant mantras.
- Recite the fast story.
- After this, offer fruits, milk, curd, sweets etc. One thing to keep in mind is that Tulsi leaves must be included in the offering.
- After performing puja, sing bhajans and kirtans.
- Distribute Prasad among the people.
