Baghpat News: Villagers attacked the police who had come to arrest the accused of theft in Baghpat. People attacked the police with sticks and stones and also damaged the police vehicle. Two policemen were injured in the attack by the villagers. After a lot of effort, the police arrested the accused of theft. Also, the police have arrested 11 accused after registering a case against 15 attackers including the village head and 20-25 under serious sections, while the search is on for others. 

It was told that, in Budhpur village of Ramala police station area, late night on September 19, two youths were stealing from the house of Danishta wife of Qayyum. She woke up on hearing the noise. When she raised an alarm, one of the accused fled with 50 thousand rupees kept in the house, while the villagers caught the other accused and started beating him while vandalizing his bike. The arrested accused is Sameer, a resident of Kishanpur Baral. On the other hand, on receiving information, in-charge SO Shyam Singh reached the village with police force and tried to free the accused of theft from the villagers.

During this, angry people pelted stones and beat up the policemen with sticks. The policemen somehow saved their lives by running away. The villagers pelted stones and broke the police jeep. The policemen rescued the youth accused of theft from the villagers and took him into custody. Constable driver Sonit and home guard Subhash were injured in the fight. Apart from the accused of theft Sameer, the constable and home guard were treated. In-charge SO Shyam Singh has registered a case against Ramala police station village head Sachin, Asif, Ayub, Qayyum, Asgar, Hakimu, Irfan, Farukh, Munna, Shoaib, Jamila, Momin, Hamid, Sagar, Danishta resident Budhpur, besides 20-25 unknown attackers. 

CO Baraut Vijay Chaudhary says that, at 1 o'clock in the night of 19 September, the police station received information that the villagers had caught a thief in Budhpur village and were beating him. On which Ramana police immediately reached the spot and tried to free the thief from the villagers. On which the villagers got angry and attacked the police team. Also damaged the police vehicle. In this incident, 11 accused have been arrested and presented in the court. Further action is being taken.
