While the movie did a business of Rs 10.25 crore on the second day, on the third day, taking advantage of the weekend, the film has collected Rs 14.62 crore. According to Sacnilk's report, the film earned Rs 14.35 crore in Telugu language on Saturday, while it earned Rs 27 lakh in Tamil language.

Ajith Kumar's Tamil action drama film Vidamurayachi is a remake of the 1997 American film 'Breakdown'.
