Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal, who is gearing up for his upcoming film Chhaava, recently opened up about turning down the blockbuster horror-comedy Stree. In a candid revelation, Vicky admitted that he had to reject the project due to a prior commitment to another film, a decision he regrets to this day.
The actor shared that at the time, he was already working on another project and couldn’t adjust his dates for Stree, which later became a massive hit starring Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor. Reflecting on his choice, Vicky confessed that he still wonders how things might have been different if he had been part of the film.
Despite missing out on Stree, Vicky has carved a successful path in Bollywood with critically acclaimed performances in films like Uri: The Surgical Strike, Sardar Udham, and Sam Bahadur. However, he admits that some opportunities are too good to let go, and Stree was one of them.
