Unnao. On the Kanpur-Lucknow highway, near Chamrauli village in the Ajgain area on Monday morning, while trying to overtake, a roadways bus rammed into a truck parked on the roadside from behind.The left side portion of the bus, which was moving at a speed of about 80 to 100 km per hour, was torn from back to front. 40-year-old Ramshankar, son of Ramsukh, resident of Babupurwa Juhi Kanpur Nagar, died in the accident, four other passengers were injured.
The injured were referred to the district hospital
Hearing the cries of the injured, passersby called 112 and informed. The PRV parked a little distance away reached the spot and the police station informed the ambulance and started the rescue work. After some time, SO Avnish Singh reached the spot and sent the injured to CHC Nawabganj, from where they were referred to the district hospital. Thankfully, there were not many passengers in the bus.
