Bradley Bartel of Wisconsin voted in support of Donald Trump in America in 2016, but the effect of his policies seems to be on his wife. Despite being in the process of legally becoming an American citizen, his wife has been arrested by immigration officials at San Juan Airport. Regarding this, Bradley Bartel said that he has no regrets about his decision.

Bradley Bartell's wife, Camila Muñoz, a Peruvian citizen, has worked toward obtaining permanent residency in the U.S. even after her visa expired. Despite his difficulties, Bartell still supports Trump, who has vowed the largest deportation in U.S. history.

Wife came to Wisconsin on a work-study visa

Muñoz arrived in Wisconsin Dells in 2019 on a work-study visa that expired when Covid-19 restricted international travel. She worked in agriculture and hospitality, where she met Mr. Bartel.

After initially losing her phone number, he later re-contacted her on Facebook and they began a serious relationship. The couple eventually married, but delayed their honeymoon due to the pandemic.

What is the whole matter?

In February, they traveled to Puerto Rico for their honeymoon. Upon their return, immigration agents asked Muñoz about his citizenship status. When he told them he was in the process of getting a green card, he was taken into custody. He is now being held at an ICE facility in Louisiana.

Bartel described the agony of watching his wife's detention. He said, 'It's all a nightmare, we have a lawyer. The system is very inefficient, so it's taking longer than it should.
