
If US President Donald Trump imposes 25% import charges as promised, then many big companies of India can be greatly affected. Especially those who export a lot to America. The list given below tells which companies have how much exposure:- Its list is out. CNBC Awaaz has prepared the complete list. Let us tell you.
(1) Pharma companies – Highest risk- 30-70% of revenue is from US.
Most affected:- Sun Pharma (35% US revenue), Dr. Reddy's (40-45%), Aurobindo Pharma (50%), Natco Pharma (70%), Lupin, Cipla, Biocon are also affected.
2. Chemical companies – There is 20-30% dependence on US. Specialty chemical and agrochemical companies at risk:- UPL, SRF, Aarti, Navin Fluorine and Deepak Nitrite, Vinati Organics are included.
3. Textile and garment companies – Some companies export 60-70% to US
including Welspun India (60%), Indo Count (70%), Trident, Arvind, Himatsingka Seide. 4. Auto parts - Major share of American market- Sona BLW (40-45%), Bharat Forge (25%), Motherson, Minda, Balkrishna, Endurance are included. 5. Agriculture and processed food - There will be pressure on exports- Items like rice, fish, snacks go to America:- LT Foods (Daawat - 25%), KRBL (India Gate - 20%), Avanti Feeds, Apex Frozen (50%). Haldiram's, Britannia, Vadilal, Tata Consumer will be affected. 6. Engineering and solar companies- Solar panels and other products are exported to America:- Tata Power, Adani Green, Borosil are included. Larsen & Toubro, BHEL, Thermax and Cummins, Kirloskar, APL Apollo, Jindal Saw are included. 7. Power gear companies- GE T&D (25%), CG Power, ABB India, BHEL, KEC and Shilchar, Voltamp, Bharat Bijlee are included. Most important thing- Companies with small exposure (10-15%) may be less affected. Shares of companies with high exposure (40-70%) may fluctuate.
