Irfan Solanki case:  Five convicts including SP MLA have been sentenced to 7 years imprisonment and fined Rs 30,500. During the debate on punishment, Irfan's advocate Saeed Naqvi said that Irfan Solanki is a four-time MLA. He cannot commit an act like arson. The plot was purchased from KDA. Minimum punishment should be given.

The lawyer put forward this argument demanding a higher punishment

Sharif and Shaukat's lawyer also asked for lesser punishment. District Government Advocate (criminal) Dilip Awasthi said that Irfan is a four-time MLA. He is a public servant, so he has more responsibility towards the society than the common man. Such a punishment should be given which becomes an example in the society. Maximum punishment and fine should be given. The plaintiff is very poor. Maximum fine should be imposed. The amount of the fine should be given to the victim.

A woman named Nazir Fatima had filed a case against MLA Solanki and his brother Rizwan Solanki in Jajmau police station. During investigation, the names of Shaukat and Israel Aata Wala also came up.

A fine of Rs 30,500 has been imposed on the accused. The court has sentenced five accused, including SP MLA Irfan Solanki, to seven years of imprisonment in the case of setting a woman's house on fire in a dispute over a plot. The MPMA court pronounced this verdict at around 6:30 pm on Friday evening.
