UK General Election 2024:  Sunak has suffered a setback even before voting in Britain on July 4. Now there is a big threat of defeat looming over him. The big reason behind this is also Indians. The survey has revealed that 65 percent of Indians do not want to vote for Rishi Sunak's party. According to a YouGov report, 65% of Indian voters have turned against Sunak's Conservative Party.

Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak launched the election campaign on Tuesday ahead of the voting on Thursday. He urged voters not to do anything that they would regret and the opposition should get more votes than them.

Rishi Sunak became the Prime Minister of Britain for the first time in 2022. But this time it does not seem easy for him. Tuesday was the last day of election campaign. During this, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visited a distribution center in East England.

Sunak made this appeal to the voters

Here he asked voters not to do anything that they would regret. All pre-election opinion polls indicated a strong majority for the opposition Labour Party. Due to which the incumbent Conservative Party led by Sunak has to step back and warn voters against giving a supermajority to the Labour Party led by Keir Starmer.

Both main party leaders are trying to cover as many parts of the United Kingdom as possible in the last two days of campaigning, especially in areas where they have a better chance of winning.

Meanwhile, Rishi Sunak posted on social media. In which he said that once you take this decision on Thursday, you cannot go back. So don't do anything that you will regret.

Labour-led government will increase people's taxes- Sunak

Through this post, he gave the message that the Labor-led government will increase taxes for everyone in the country. He said, you have 48 hours to put the brakes on Labor's supermajority that will increase your taxes.

At the same time, while talking to BBC polling expert Sir John Curtis, he said that I do not want people to relax in this matter. Therefore, I am working very hard for every vote. I want to remain in this position so that I can reduce people's taxes, protect their pension and secure our borders.

Rishi Sunak said, this is his view, it will not stop me from working as hard as I can in these last few days. I will stay out until the last moment of this campaign.

In an interview with The Times, the Labour leader attempted to present Tory warnings about a "Labour supermajority" as a silver lining as he stressed the need for a strong mandate to "profoundly change" the country so that people have "more money in their pockets".

The Labor Party rejected the allegations

Keir Starmer, who is expected to arrive at 10 Downing Street by Friday evening, insisted the bigger majority meant we could deliver the change we need.

The Labour Party has described its vision as focused on greater growth through major planning reforms and skills improvements, and has rejected plans to raise taxes across all sectors.

Keir Starmer stressed, the most important thing is to grow the economy and create wealth. I think that's been the weakness for the last 13 years. You can talk about public services, but you can't do that if your economy isn't working. You can't grow your economy if you haven't addressed the challenges of planning and infrastructure.
