India-Canada Relations: The problems of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are not coming to an end. Every now and then Trudeau is put in the dock for one thing or the other. Something similar happened with Trudeau again that he had to call the officers of his own security agency criminals.

In fact, Justin Trudeau has been criticized a lot for leaking false information about India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A leading Canadian newspaper, Globe and Mail, published a report which said that PM Modi had prior information about the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. In the same report, it was also claimed that Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar and Indian National Security Advisor were also aware of this plan. Globe and Mail newspaper published this report quoting Canadian security officials. Reacting to this, Trudeau has called his own officials 'criminals'.

India reacted strongly to this report

After the publication of this report by the Globe and Mail, the Indian Foreign Ministry has reacted strongly to it and called it a campaign of defamation. Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal had said, "Such defamatory campaigns further harm our already strained relations."

What did the Canadian National Security Agency say ?

After this, Canada's National Security Agency called this published report completely false. The agency said in a statement, "The National Security Agency has not said anything about Prime Minister Narendra Modi , External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval knowing about the Nijjar murder case, nor does the agency have any evidence about it."

The Trudeau government was embarrassed after the report was published

Canadian PM Justin Trudeau is facing a lot of criticism due to this report against the Indian Prime Minister. In a press conference, Canada's leading news outlet CPC questioned Trudeau about the Globe and Mail report and the denial made by the Canadian security agency and asked whether the Canadian government will investigate this matter or not? How can an agency make such claims and how can any mainstream media publish such a report without any proof?

Responding to the question, Justin Trudeau said, "We have seen criminals leaking top secret information to the media and the media is constantly publishing false stories." He said, "It is unbelievable that criminals are leaking information to the media."
