Barabanki News: A tragic incident took place in Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh, where three workers who had gone down to clean the diesel chamber of an animal feed factory in a village in Jahangirabad police station area on Monday evening died of suffocation. A police officer gave this information late in the evening. The police have taken the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem. 

According to the information, three workers had entered the diesel tank of Ganpati Cattle Sheet Factory in Jahangirabad to clean it. They fell unconscious due to poisonous gas. After this, they were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Where they died due to suffocation. 

Police sent the bodies for postmortem.
According to the police, the administration came to know about the incident about 45 minutes after the incident. After which the police sent the three bodies for postmortem and they were identified as Nilesh and Sunil, residents of Barabanki. While the third laborer is Dharmendra from Ambedkar Nagar. 

Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Chiranjeevi Nath Sinha said that today at around 4:30 pm, a worker went down to clean the tank in a diesel chamber of Ganpati Agri cattle feed factory near village Bhatehta. He did not return. After this, the second and then the third worker also went inside, but when the three did not return, the other workers tried to go inside and felt suffocated.

Safety belts were not worn.
According to the police, after receiving the information, the factory's management became active and somehow, in a hurry, the three workers were taken out and sent to the Community Health Center in Deva, where the doctors declared them dead.

All three workers are registered with the labour department. Due to which their families will also be given financial help. These three workers used to clean this tank every year. Factory owner Ashok Dwivedi said that repair and cleaning work was going on in the plant. The workers were not wearing safety belts. Due to which they could not be evacuated in time.
