South cinema's female superstar Nayanthara always comes into discussion on social media for some reason or the other. Recently, her documentary 'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale' was released, in which the audience got a chance to know those aspects of her life, which hardly her fans know about.
However, there is another reason due to which Nayanthara is constantly in the news and that is her legal fight with South superstar Dhanush. This whole matter is about a 3-second clip, regarding which Nayanthara wrote an open letter to the actor. Dhanush may not have responded to it directly, but the actor's father Kasturi Raja has fired arrows of words at the actress.
What did Dhanush's father say about the legal battle with Nayanthara?
Nayanthara and Dhanush have worked together in films like 'Nauni Rowdy Dhaan', released in 2015, apart from Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Phir Aaya Deewana.
Dhanush's father and South film director-producer Kasturi Raja has also reacted to the legal matter of Dhanush-Nayanthara which is being discussed everywhere.
Talking to Tamil Samay, Kasthuri Raja responded to the open letter sent by Nayanthara and said,
When asked about the no-objection certificate sent by Dhanush to Nayanthara, she flatly refused to talk about it.
How did this fight between Nayanthara and Dhanush start?
Actually, a 3-second clip from the film 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' released in 2015 has been inserted in Nayanthara's documentary. The producer of the film is Dhanush and Nayanthara's husband Vignesh Shivam directed the movie. Dhanush sent a legal notice of Rs 10 crore to Nayanthara for allegedly using a 3-second clip of the film in the documentary without the producer's permission.
After which the actress also did not hold back from responding and wrote a three-page open letter on her official Instagram account. Nayanthara's documentary 'Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale' is streamed on Netflix.
