The trend of growth in the stock market has stopped this week. The market closed with a decline of more than 4 percent during the week. With this decline, there has been a sharp decline in the investment value of investors. During a week, the value of investors' investment in the market has decreased by more than Rs 17 lakh crore. How was the market
this week, the BSE Sensex closed at 81688 with a decline of 3883 points i.e. 4.53 percent. At the same time, Nifty 50 has declined by 1164 i.e. 4.44 percent during this period and the index closed at 25014. This weekly decline of both the indices is the biggest decline in any one week since June 2022. With this decline, the total market value of all the companies listed on the BSE has come down from Rs 477.93 lakh crore to Rs 460.89 lakh crore as compared to last week. That is, the value of investors' investment has come down by more than Rs 17 lakh crore during a week. Out of this, the share of loss of 9 companies included in the top 10 companies is more than one-fourth. During a week, the market value of 9 such companies which are among the 10 largest companies in the country has come down by Rs 4.74 lakh crore. Where did the biggest loss occur? Among the big companies that suffered the most losses , RIL's market value has fallen the most by Rs 1.88 lakh crore. At the same time, the market value of HDFC Bank has fallen by Rs 72919 crore. The market value of Bharti Airtel has fallen by Rs 53800 crore. Apart from this, the market value of ICICI Bank has fallen by Rs 47461 crore, the market value of LIC has fallen by Rs 33491 crore, the market value of HUL has fallen by Rs 27525 crore, the market value of ITC has fallen by Rs 24139 crore, the market value of TCS has fallen by Rs 21,690 crore and the market value of SBI has fallen by Rs 5399 crore. On the other hand, the market value of Infosys has increased by around Rs 5 thousand crore.
