According to the Vedic calendar, October 2 is Sarvapitre Amavasya. On this auspicious date, the final tarpan and pinddaan of the ancestors will be performed. On the day of Ashwin Amavasya, the ancestors depart. In simple words, the ancestors return to their world. It is contained in Garuda Purana that by offering tarpan to the ancestors, the ancestors of three generations get salvation. Sadhaks can offer tarpan to ancestors during Shivavas Yoga on October 02. The conjunction of Shivavas is till 12:18 am on October 03. During this time, worshiping Lord Shiva will bring happiness and prosperity. Along with this, you will also get relief from Pitra Dosh.

Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga

According to astrologers, Sarvarth Siddhi Yoga is also being formed on Ashwin Amavasya . Sarvarth Siddhi Yoga is there throughout the day. This yoga will end on 03 October at 06:15 am. Worshiping ancestors in this yoga leads to happiness, prosperity and growth of progeny.

Brahma Yoga

Rare Brahma Yoga is also being formed on Sarvapitre Amavasya. In this Yoga, offering tarpan and pinddaan to ancestors will prove to be extremely fruitful. Brahma Yoga is there for the whole day. At the same time, it will end on October 03 at 03:22 in the night. Along with this, a combination of Uttaraphalguni and Hasta Nakshatra is being formed.
