UP News: Special preparations have been made by the Transport Department to provide modern facilities to the passengers traveling in roadways buses of Uttar Pradesh. Under this, preparations have been made to rejuvenate 54 bus stations including Kaisarabad and Jankipuram bus stations of the capital Lucknow. Where there will be world-class facilities for the people. The government will rejuvenate them on the PPP (Public, Private Partnership) model.
Under this scheme, 23 bus stations will be modernized and beautified in the first phase. Where passengers will be provided airport-like facilities. Along with this, special arrangements will be made for their safety, comfort and cleanliness. A plan has been prepared regarding this, which has also been placed before Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh. It is believed that this report will be sent to the government soon.
After the government approves it, the work will start. It is believed that on one hand it will improve the transport system of UP and on the other hand it will create employment opportunities for people on a large scale. The 54 bus stations which will be modernized have also been selected. These stations will have guest houses, dormitories, parking, food courts and clean toilets along with food shops.
These bus stations will be renovated under the scheme. These include bus stations like
Khurja, Bulandshahr, Muzaffarnagar, Nahtaur, Loni, Noida, Garh, Hathras, Etah, Foundry Nagar, Firozabad, Rampur, Gola, Jhansi, Badaun, Moradabad, Shikohabad, Bhinga, Gonda, Gauri Bazar, Balrampur, Gonda, Deoria, Nichlaul, Saunauli, Ayodhya VS, Akbarpur, Machhlishahr, Rasra, Rudrapur, Belthara Road, Pilibhat, Robertsganj, Vindhyachal, Kashi, Tarawa, Churuk, Obra, Kunda, Rawatpur, Amethi, Unnao, Mati, Hardoi, Naimisharanya, Sindhauli, Jankipuram, Kaisarabagh, Badshahpur, Jagdishpur, Jaunpur and Basti.
According to the data, UP Roadways buses ferry 5.8 crore passengers every year. For this, 12,500 roadways buses run daily which take people to their destination. It will take two years to complete this project. While a target of seven years has been set for the construction of commercial assets and complexes.
