Rampur News Today: A lineman was strangled to death in Swar police station area of Rampur on Friday (15 November). After this incident, sensation spread in the area. The deceased was identified as Javed, a resident of Pipalsana village of Swar police station area. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
According to the information received, the deceased Javed left his house at 6 am on Friday. He also spoke to his family at 12 noon, but after that he did not pick up the phone. In the last conversation, the deceased had told his family that he was near the village.
The deceased's nephew Furkan said that he last spoke to him at 12 o'clock, during which Javed told him that he would be home in 10 to 15 minutes. According to Furkan, after 12 o'clock Javed stopped picking up the phone, which made the family members worried. The phone was on till 9 o'clock at night, but after that the phone got switched off.
Family members suspected murder
. After this, the family started looking for him. The next day, some people from the village told Javed's family that he was lying in the field. Hearing this, there was panic among the family members. The family members found Javed's body on the spot. They informed the police about this.
The family of the deceased has expressed the suspicion of Javed's murder. The family said that Javed's body was found lying in the field, his eyes were bulging out. There are rope marks on the neck of the deceased. The family has expressed the suspicion that Javed was strangled to death, although he had no enmity with anyone.
Police started investigation
Rampur SP Vidyasagar Mishra said that the body of Javed, a resident of Thana Swar, was found in the field. On receiving the information, Swar police reached the spot, took the body in their custody, filled the Panchnama and sent it for postmortem. Further legal action will be taken after the postmortem report comes. Investigation is going on in the case.
