Aligarh News Today: There was a ruckus over a notice in Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), one of the most prestigious educational institutions of the country. The reason for this is that the word beef biryani was used in the notice, seeing which Hindu students got angry and created a ruckus.
When the administrative officials of Aligarh Muslim University received a complaint about this, they started covering up the matter. Proctor Wasim Ali says that a notice was issued regarding the change in the menu of AMU's Suleman Hall, it was a typing mistake. No change has been made in the menu, food will be served as before.
Hindu students furious over the notice
Earlier, when this news reached the Hindu students, they got furious and started making serious allegations against the AMU administration. Hindu students say that through this menu, an attempt has been made to hurt their sentiments, due to which they have to face a lot of problems.
Seeing the anger of the students, Aligarh Muslim University also came into action. After the complaint of AMU administration, the police have registered a case against two senior food officials. The university administration clarified that this happened due to a typing mistake. Senior Food and Senior Hall have been removed for negligence. Further investigation is being conducted in the matter.
What is in the viral notice?
A notice was issued late night in the dining hall of Suleman Hall of AMU on behalf of Senior Food and Senior Hall, which is becoming increasingly viral on social media. It is written in it, "On your demand, the Sunday lunch menu has been changed. Now beef biryani will be served instead of chicken biryani. This change has been made after many requests. We hope you will enjoy this new change in our menu."
FIR lodged against Senior Food
As soon as the menu went viral, the uproar started. After this, the administration has lodged a case against Senior Food Dining Mohammad Faizullah and Mujassim Ahmed Bhati for hurting sentiments. Both are Senior Food students. Late night, a notice of clarification has been issued by Provost Dr. Fasih Ragib Gauhar regarding this. He has also called it a typing mistake.
