Donald Trump has been taking many big decisions since becoming the President . Meanwhile, Trump has announced tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China. A 25 percent tariff will be imposed on goods coming to the US from Mexico and Canada and a 10 percent tariff will be imposed on imports from China. Trump has also signed an executive order on this decision.

All three countries have expressed their displeasure over this decision of Trump. China has decided to respond to this decision of America. China will file a case against this decision in the World Trade Organization (WTO).

China's Foreign Ministry said that all this is America's problem, we have nothing to do with it. It is clear from China's statements that soon it too can announce import duty on American products.

This is a unilateral decision by America: China

China has said that the US' unilateral tariff hike is a serious violation of World Trade Organization (WTO) rules. The Chinese Foreign Ministry said that this move cannot solve America's problems domestically and will not benefit any party.

In a statement, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said, “The US has imposed an additional 10 percent tariff on Chinese imports under the pretext of the fentanyl issue. China strongly condemns and opposes this move and will take necessary countermeasures to safeguard its legitimate rights.”

Trudeau was furious over Trump's decision

Canada has also decided to take strong action against the US tariffs. Canada's acting Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has expressed displeasure over Trump's decision. Justin Trudeau has said that we did not want this but his country is 'ready' to face the US tariffs.

Justin Trudeau has announced that his country will impose a 25 percent tariff on US imports worth $155 billion. Trudeau said, "These tariffs are a violation of the free trade agreement signed a few years ago. This will have serious consequences for the American people."

What did Mexico say?

Similarly, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo said that Mexico does not want a confrontation with America. We start with cooperation between neighboring countries. Mexico wants that fentanyl drug should not reach any country, let alone America. The Mexican President said that imposing tariffs will not solve the problem.

Trump has accused Mexico of not taking any concrete steps against illegal immigration. At the same time, the Mexican government has also been unable to stop the smuggling of chemicals used for drugs called Fentanyl in the US. Mexico has rejected these allegations of Trump.
