Jammu and Kashmir News: Dalit, OBC, Monorotians and Adivasi Mahasangh protested in Jammu against the statements made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah against Bhimrao Ambedkar in Parliament. Raising slogans against BJP and Amit Shah, the Mahasangh demanded the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah.
Mahasangh leader RK Kalsotra said that these statements brought out Amit Shah's words in his heart. He said that Shah does not want SC, ST to get rights and India to become strong, which was the dream of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar.
The leaders of the Mahasangh claimed that the BJP wants to abolish the rights that BR Ambedkar had put in the constitution. Congress had made an amendment that landless people should get land, while the BJP is abolishing such rights and promoting the private sector. The
movement reached Jammu from Delhi.
The Mahasangh alleged that the BJP does not want Dalits, backward and tribals to become powerful and get equal rights. We believe the statements made by Amit Shah and we are firm that until the Home Minister does not apologize and resign, this movement has reached Jammu from Delhi and now it will become a street movement. The Mahasangh requested the PM to call the MPs again and ask Amit Shah to apologize and take his resignation.
Uproar in Lok Sabha over Home Minister's statement
Let us tell you that two days ago, Union Home Minister Amit Shah was speaking in the Lok Sabha. During this, he targeted the opposition and said that if the opposition people took the name of God as many times as they take the name of Ambedkar, they would have attained heaven for seven lives. It is worth noting that after this statement of the Home Minister, the opposition attacked him and started demanding his resignation by saying that it was an insult to Ambedkar.
