What is the reason for the fight in the royal family?
It is worth noting that the dispute between the Udaipur royal family in Rajasthan has reached its peak. After the death of Mahendra Singh Mewar in Chittor, his son Vishvaraj Singh Mewar was crowned, but after this there was a big dispute over Dhuni Darshan. This incident happened when Vishvaraj Singh Mewar along with his supporters reached the City Palace of Udaipur for Dhuni Darshan and he was not allowed to enter the palace.
After this, the situation became so tense that till late night there was stone pelting between the people outside and inside the palace. Despite heavy deployment of police, the dispute was not stopping. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the district administration officials reached the spot. Udaipur DM and City SP were also present there.
The administration immediately appointed a receiver at the place where the dispute over darshan took place. Apart from this, the administration tried to convince the people so that the situation could be calmed down. However, the situation remained tense throughout the night .
Vishwaraj Singh's coronation remained incomplete.
According to the tradition of Mewar, coronation is considered incomplete until Dhuni Darshan and Eklingji Darshan are done. Currently, due to the controversy over Dhuni Darshan, the coronation of Vishwaraj Singh Mewar is still considered incomplete. According to the traditions of the royal family, this situation is very serious.
Dispute over property
In fact, there has been a long-standing dispute over property between the two prominent families of the Mewar royal family. Arvind Singh and Mahendra Singh, descendants of Maharana Pratap, are both brothers and there are many legal disputes going on between them over property rights. These cases include many properties including Eklingji Temple and City Palace, where Arvind Singh is serving as the surveyor of the trust. Recently Mahendra Singh Mewar passed away, after which his son Vishvraj Singh was crowned, but the dispute over Dhuni Darshan remains.
