Madhuri Dixit shares her first post after the controversy

Following this, the organizers issued a clarification regarding Madhuri Dixit's alleged late arrival and blamed her management for the delay. They stated that the actress had been misinformed about the timing, leading to this. Madhuri Dixit had maintained silence throughout the entire controversy, and now, two days later, she has posted on Instagram for the first time.

The actress gave an update on her upcoming tour

The actress shared a gratitude post on her Instagram. The post shows Madhuri's face and the dates of the events. In the caption, Madhuri wrote, "Thank you Toronto for a wonderful meeting, and now I look forward to meeting my fans in New Jersey on November 6th, Boston on November 7th, Chicago on November 8th, Houston on November 9th, and New York on November 15th."

Users vented their anger

While some fans reacted with love, others expressed their anger after the chaos at the Canadian show. One user wrote, “But you should apologize to Toronto for the false advertising. Your own post on your profile doesn't call it a meet and greet. You're calling it an evening of dance, music, and celebration.”

The user had pleaded not to come

Another commented, "Madhuri Dixit Nene. I grew up loving and watching you. Right now, Toronto is very disappointed with your show. They were misled. False advertising was given about the show. What everyone was expecting and what actually happened." A person named Parvez Dhanani shared a video on his Instagram feed in which Madhuri is matching steps to the song "Mera Piya Ghar Aaya" from the 1995 film Yaarana. He advised people not to come to the tour.

 The organizers apologized to Madhuri

Now, the show's organizers have apologized to Madhuri Dixit and her team. They had previously stated that Madhuri and her team were the cause of the delay, and that the fault lay with them. Now, the show's organizers have clarified that Madhuri Dixit arrived on time, and the problem was caused by incorrect information from the local promoter.

At a press conference, national promoter Atiq Sheikh stated that the event was not a concert, but a fan meet-and-greet, featuring a conversation and question-and-answer session with Madhuri. Some people were misinformed that it was a concert, leading to a misunderstanding.

"Madhuri ji has always been professional and punctual. She arrived at 9:30 pm and came on stage between 9:45 and 10:00 pm, as planned," Sheikh said.

According to the organizers, Indian Idol stars Shivangi Sharma and Tanmay Chaturvedi performed from 7:30 to 9:00 pm, while Madhuri also participated in a fan meet-and-greet session at 5:30 pm. The promoters clarified that there was no delay from Madhuri or her team, but rather that the entire misunderstanding was due to local promoters. However, Madhuri is now excited about her upcoming tours and has shared information about them on social media.
