China Spy Agency: China's notorious spy agency Ministry of State Security (MSS) has been extremely secretive about its presence in front of the world till now. The Chinese intelligence agency has no name and no information about its mission is publicly available. But this does not mean that the Chinese spy agency has no credibility, rather the Chinese intelligence agency has made life difficult for the western countries. But recently the Chinese intelligence agency is not able to stop itself from boasting about its exploits.
Despite not being in the public spotlight previously, the Chinese spy agency has now changed tack and is now making its presence felt in Chinese cities, CNN reports.
How does the Chinese intelligence agency work?
China's top spy agency recently sent a message to the Chinese people in the form of a short video on the occasion of National Security Education Day. It means: "Foreign spies are everywhere." In the three-minute video, a beady-eyed, wide-faced man poses as a food delivery driver, a businessman, a lab technician or even a street fashion photographer while ominous music plays. He also sets up online honey traps by collecting the country's intelligence from various sources.
The aim of the Chinese intelligence agency is to tell its people not to trust anyone and to look at everyone with suspicion, but the question arises whether the Chinese intelligence agency is really so powerful?
Exploits of Chinese spy agency
China's intelligence agencies have carried out missions outside the country, but their primary purpose is to strengthen security measures within the country. For Western countries, China is like an impenetrable fortress from where extracting intelligence is like finding water in a desert. The Chinese intelligence agency has put every inch of China under surveillance. There is facial recognition and digital tracking in the country.
The American intelligence agency CIA has also admitted that spying in China is extremely difficult. Hardly any country can get a clue about Chinese spies, by the time any news is known, the Chinese spies disappear.
According to a BBC report, the US intelligence agency CIA believes that it is difficult to extract intelligence from China because they do not take any equipment from Western countries. They use their own equipment for communication, so it becomes almost impossible to intercept them.
