On the day of weekly expiry, the Indian stock market started in the green. However, shortly after the market opened, Nifty-Sensex were seen trading in the red mark due to increasing pressure in auto stocks. Earlier on Thursday, Nifty opened at 25,027.40 with a gain of 56.10 points i.e. 0.22%. Sensex opened at 81758.07 with a gain of 256.71 points i.e. .31%. At the same time, Nifty Bank opened at 51849.30 with a gain of 48.20 points i.e. 0.09%.
At the same time, Bajaj Auto, Hero MotoCorp, M&M, Eicher Motors and Trent were at the top of the Nifty's weak stocks list. These stocks witnessed a decline of 0.83% to 7.4%.
