The Indian stock market opened flat amid mixed signals in the third session of the week. On Wednesday, the Sensex fell 148 points or 0.175 to open at 84,766.03. Nifty also fell 41.80 points or 0.16% to open at 25,898.60. At the same time, Nifty Bank fell 94.20 points or 0.17% to open at 53,874.40. However, shortly after opening, the market was seen functioning in the green mark.
During the early trading, Power Grid, Hindalco Industries, JSW Steel, BPCL and Tata Steel stocks topped the list of Nifty's bullish stocks. During the early trading, these stocks saw a gain of 0.42% to 1%.
At the same time, stocks of Bajaj Auto, Nestle India, LTIMindtree, Britannia Industries and Apollo Hospitals topped the list of weak stocks of Nifty. During the initial trading, these stocks showed weakness ranging from 0.59% to 0.93%.
