New Delhi. There are many miraculous and mysterious temples in India, where people from all over the world come to visit. Today we will talk about one such temple, which is a center of faith among the devotees. Along with this, it is full of many mysteries. Actually, we are talking about the Sri Krishna Temple located in Thiruvarppu, Kerala , where a huge crowd of devotees gathers every day.
Let us tell you, this famous temple of South India is about 1500 years old, whose glory is spread far and wide. According to some mythological stories , this is the same idol which the Pandavas served and worshipped during their exile. It is said that after the exile was over, they left this divine idol in Thiruvarppu on the request of the fishermen,
But the fishermen were not able to serve it according to the rules, due to which they were facing a lot of problems. Then to solve this, an astrologer advised them to immerse the idol. After this, the fishermen immersed the idol as per the advice of the astrologer.
Later, this idol was found in the river by a sage from Kerala, Vilvamangalam Swamiyar, during a boat journey. He kept it in his boat and then he stopped to rest by keeping the idol under a tree.
As soon as they tried to lift the statue to resume their journey, it got stuck there. Because of this, they installed the statue at the same place.
Bhog is offered 10 times
It is believed that this divine idol has the feeling of Kanha when he killed Kansa, during which he was very hungry. This is the reason why Kanha is offered food 10 times a day in this Dham. At the same time, if there is even a slight delay in the offering, then the weight of his idol decreases a little,
Because they cannot bear hunger. It is believed that the weight of this statue is decreasing day by day, the mystery of which people are not able to understand even today.
