'So many love letters leaked from post offices...', Kanhaiya Kumar's strong attack on Nitish government on the very first day of the tour:

Palayan Roko Naukri Do Yatra: On the issue of rising unemployment and migration in Bihar, the youth wing of Congress has started the 'Palayan Roko Naukri Do' padayatra. This yatra started from Bhitarwa Ashram in West Champaran on Sunday. Addressing a public meeting before the start of the yatra, Kanhaiya Kumar fiercely targeted the Bihar government.

What did Kanhaiya say about migration?

He said that there is a severe lack of basic facilities like education, employment, roads and security in Bihar. He also said that forget about education, earning and medicine, people of Bihar have to go out even to celebrate honeymoon.

Kanhaiya Kumar said that the rigging in the examinations in Bihar is the failure of the government system. He quipped that in the olden days, love letters used to get leaked from the post offices, but not as many love letters got leaked as today every exam paper in Bihar gets leaked. Everything is running on contract. Be it education, employment or health services.

In response to a question, Kanhaiya Kumar said that at present he is concentrating on this yatra and does not want to comment on contesting elections. He also said that due to the continuous migration from Bihar, 14 crore people of the state are being affected. The government has failed to provide employment. Therefore, the youth are forced to leave their state.

'The government has completely failed in providing employment'

State Congress President Akhilesh Prasad Singh also targeted the government and said that unemployment is increasing rapidly in Bihar. The industries that were established during the Congress rule have all been closed one by one. He said that the current government has completely failed in providing employment to the youth. During this padyatra, the leaders will visit different districts and try to understand the problems of the youth and students.
