Mumbai Billboard Collapse: So far 14 people have died and 74 are injured after a hoarding collapsed at a petrol pump in Ghatkopar, Mumbai on Monday.
According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials, search and rescue operations are underway at a petrol pump in Chheda Nagar on Tuesday morning. A 100-foot-long illegal billboard fell on a petrol pump in Ghatkopar during the dust storm and unseasonal rains that hit Mumbai on Monday.
31 people were discharged from hospital
A BMC official said 31 of the injured have been discharged from Rajawadi Hospital. "Search and rescue operations are on. The NDRF has deployed two teams for the operation which is being carried out along with the Mumbai Fire Brigade and other agencies," the official said.
