New Delhi: Every day many videos go viral about problems in trains. Now a snake was seen in the Vasco-da-Gama Weekly Express going from Jharkhand to Goa. After which the passengers got worried.

Let us tell you that the passengers travelling in the AC 2-tier coach were shocked to see a live snake. The video of this incident has been shared on social media. In which the snake is seen crawling near the curtain of the lower berth.

Ankita Kumar Sinha, a passenger on the train whose parents were on the train, posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) and tagged Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

In his tweet, he wrote, a snake was found on the berth of train number 17322 (Jasidih to Vasco da Gama), he urged immediate action due to the seriousness of the situation. He said, please take immediate action, he stressed the need for quick response.

Railway employees responded immediately

In the video, an IRCTC employee can be seen working with a fellow passenger to safely capture the snake using a sheet. However, it is unclear what eventually happened to the reptile.

The railways took immediate action after the incident. The Ranchi division of the Indian Railways accepted Sinha's complaint and assured him that the problem has been forwarded to the proper authorities for resolution. They said, your complaint has been accepted and the proper authority has been informed.

Snakes were seen in the train before this too

This horrifying incident is not an isolated one. Last month, passengers on the Jabalpur to Mumbai Garib Rath Express faced a similar incident when a snake was found wrapped around the bar of the upper berth. Passengers panicked after the incident and some left their seats in a hurry and ran away. After all the passengers were shifted to another place, the affected coach was detached and sent back to Jabalpur.

The Indian Railways is now under scrutiny for ensuring better safety measures and wildlife management on its trains, as such incidents continue to trouble passengers across the country.
