News Topical, Digital Desk : Dhirendra Krishna Shastri Fees: A big debate has erupted over Mahant Pandit Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham in Chhatarpur. There is a discussion about the earnings of storyteller Dhirendra Shastri. The National President of Samajwadi Party had alleged that Bageshwar Baba charges Rs 50-50 lakh for a story and also takes money 'under the table'.

On this, Sanskar TV CEO Manoj Tyagi has given a big statement. In a show on India TV, when he was asked about Dheerendra Shastri's earnings, in response to Akhilesh Yadav's statement, he said, “I will not comment on the statement of any particular person or politician, but in my years of experience, I have never seen a table set up in front of a saint like government officials. A saint takes from the society and returns to the society.”

'Saints have only knowledge to give' - Manoj Tyagi
Manoj Tyagi said, "Saints do not have any other work. It is not that they will get any contract or they will build any road. Saints go to people only to share the knowledge they have. Whoever takes a pledge to do any work, financial arrangement is required to complete it. If someone joins their pledge and helps financially, then what is wrong in it?"

'Saints do nothing for themselves'- Manoj Tyagi
On the issue of fees, the CEO of Sanskar TV said, "Saints do not charge any fees. Today, so many big charitable institutions are running in the country, where does the money come from for them? It comes only from the determination of a saint. A saint or a storyteller does nothing for himself. They do not live a lavish life. Yes, if someone gives them an expensive car, they sit in it. That is a different matter."

Referring to Baba Ramdev, Manoj Tyagi said, "Whenever I saw him, I saw him travelling in a Desi car. Be it Scorpio or Safari. He never said that this will be a part of my show-off. All the storytellers whose history I know, are working for the fulfillment of some resolution or the other."
