News Topical, Digital Desk : Aamir Khan lives his personal life with the same sincerity and principles with which he works in his films. 'Mr. Perfectionist', who has given cinema some of the best films, has had a long career, but he never compromised with his values. One such incident is when he boldly turned down an invitation from the underworld. This thing had worried his family.

This is from the 90s, when the underworld had a lot of influence in Mumbai and many Bollywood stars used to attend their parties. Once Aamir Khan also got an invitation to attend an underworld party held in Dubai. At that time, it was not easy to refuse such an invitation, because it could directly mean becoming an enemy of the underworld. Many actors used to attend these parties out of fear or for their own benefit, but Aamir Khan was not one of them.

Aamir Khan turned down Underworld's offer

Recently, Aamir Khan told about this in an interview given to a YouTube channel. He said, “I rejected the invitation to attend his party in Middle East Dubai. Some people from the underworld came to me to invite me to the party. They tried a lot. They offered me money and any work of my choice. I still refused to come. He immediately changed his tone and said that I have to come now because my presence has already been announced and it is a matter of prestige.”

I had clearly told this to the underworld

The Sitare Zameen Par actor further added, “That was our last meeting. I said, 'You have been meeting for a month and I was telling you from the beginning that I will not come. You are very dangerous. So you can beat me, hit me on the head, tie my hands and legs and forcibly take me wherever you want, but I will not come myself.' So he stopped contacting me after that.”

The family was worried

Aamir Khan's family was also worried due to this step. The actor said, "At that time I had two small children. My parents were very worried. They said, 'What are you doing? They are very dangerous.' So I told them only one thing then, 'I want to live my life the way I want. I don't want to go there.' I was more worried about my close ones."
