Yesterday, it has been five days since Salman Khan's film 'Sikander' was released in theatres. Bhaijaan's film, which hit theatres in India and worldwide on March 30, a day before Eid, seems to be losing steam in just five days. The collection of this film at the domestic box office started to waver on Monday itself, but the movie still stood strong worldwide.

Released in many places abroad including Australia, America, New Zealand, Malaysia, the film 'Sikander' was earning the best in the US. The way the film created a stir in the world for four days, it seemed that the record of Akshay Kumar's Sky Force would be broken with the collection of Thursday. However, far from crushing any film, 'Sikander' has suffered a setback in terms of collection at the Indian as well as worldwide box office on the fifth day. Let's find out how much the film earned on Thursday:

Sikandar's collection suddenly dropped on the 5th day

Sikandar opened its account with 46 crores worldwide on the first day. After its release, Salman Khan's film surpassed Mohanlal's L2: Empuraan in terms of earnings on the first day itself. After this, the film's earnings increased on the second day and the movie earned up to 59 crores in a single day. In just two days, this film earned up to 105 crores worldwide.

The film earned 36 crores on the third day and around 17 crores on the fourth day. However, on the fifth day, the film has done very little business worldwide. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has shared the figures of the fifth day of the film on his official Instagram account, in which the movie has done a business of only 169.78 crores. The movie has earned only 11 crores in a single day on Thursday.

How much business did 'Alexander' do every day in the overseas market?

Talking about  Sikandar 's overseas market collection, Salman Khan's movie collected 19.25 crores on the first day, 11.80 crores on the second day, 8.10 crores on the third day, 3.5 crores on the fourth day and 3 crores on the fifth day. Sikandar has done a business of 45.65 crores in the overseas market so far.

However, the hope of Sikandar's collection increasing is not completely lost, because Salman Khan-Rashmika Mandanna's movie has enough time before April 10 to earn a good amount and make the film a hit despite the criticism. Sunny Deol's Jaat will release in theatres on April 10.
