New Delhi. The month of Sawan is mainly dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva. During this time, by worshipping Lord Shiva, the blessings of Mahadev remain on the devotee and many types of benefits can be obtained. Fast is observed for Lord Shiva on Sawan Monday, while Mangala Gauri fast is observed on Sawan Tuesday, which is dedicated to the worship of Mother Parvati. Along with this, festivals like Nag Panchami and Raksha Bandhan are also falling in Sawan.
