Kiev. The Russia-Ukraine war has been going on for more than two years. This fierce war that started on 24 February 2022 has turned two beautiful countries Ukraine and Russia into ruins. Both the countries have been attacking each other for the last two years. Thousands of people from both the countries lost their lives due to this war. Thousands of women and children of the country sacrificed their lives in this war.

At the same time, several initiatives were taken by other countries to end the war in two years but they were disappointed. Meanwhile, now Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he is preparing a 'comprehensive plan' to end the war with Russia. The President expressed confidence that this war ending plan will be supported by most countries of the world. News channel Al Jazeera has confirmed this news.

'The plan to end the war is very important for us'

"It is very important for us to show a plan to end the war that will be supported by the majority of countries in the world," the Ukrainian president, accompanied by Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar, said at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday. "This is the diplomatic path we are working on," he said.

'There are currently no talks between Ukraine and Russia'

Zelensky further said that there are no ongoing negotiations between Ukraine and Russia at the moment. According to Al Jazeera's report, there are no negotiations going on between Ukraine and Russia at the moment and based on public statements by Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin, the two sides appear to be as far apart as ever regarding the terms of a potential peace deal. Ukraine has repeatedly said in its statements that before peace talks can begin, Russia must pull its troops out of internationally recognised territory, including the Crimean peninsula, which Moscow annexed in 2014.
