Rostov Governor Vasily Golubev said that a drone attack overnight on Wednesday attacked the Novoshakhtinsk refinery in Russia's Rostov region and caused a fire. He said that firefighters had to evacuate for a while due to the attack.
Zelensky reached France after President Putin's warning
The damage from the Ukrainian attack on the center could not be immediately assessed. No injuries were reported. Ukraine's army is fighting to stop the recent Russian invasion in the eastern regions. Zelensky is in France to attend D-Day commemorations on Thursday.
He was due to meet French officials on Friday. Zelensky's visit comes a day after Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that Russia could supply other countries with long-range weapons so they can strike Western targets.
