This is how I got permission from my mother

Rishi Kapoor once mentioned this anecdote in a conversation with Anupam Kher. The late actor had told that his father (Raj Kapoor) had asked his mother if he could take Rishi Kapoor to play the role of young joker in 'Mera Naam Joker'. He knew that I was going to school. My mother had said to this, 'I have no problem as long as there is no problem in his studies.' Hearing this, he told his mother, 'Mom, it is not going to make any difference whether I work or not. So as soon as my mother said yes that I can work. I ran to my bedroom. I opened the drawer and took out the entire scrap sheet and started practicing autographs.'
