New Delhi: Who doesn't like to listen to stories from the lives of great personalities. And when the narrator of the story is Bollywood's great actor Amitabh Bachchan and the character is the country's leading industrialist Ratan Tata, then the fun of listening to it increases manifold. In season 16 of the famous small screen show Kaun Banega Crorepati, Amitabh praised Tata's simplicity and humanity while narrating an anecdote related to Tata.
During a discussion with filmmaker Farah Khan and actor Boman Irani, who came as guests in a special episode of KBC, Amitabh told that once Ratan Tata was also present in the flight going to London. Tata had to make an important call, but his assistant was not available.
Tata asked for money on loan
Amitabh said, he went to the phone booth to make a call. I was also standing outside. After a while he came back and I could not believe what he said. Amitabh, can you lend me some money? I don't have money to make a call. Not only the guests but also the audience were surprised to hear this anecdote related to Tata. It is worth mentioning that 86-year-old Ratan Tata died on October 9.
