Vasudev Devnani: Rajasthan Speaker Vasudev Devnani's health deteriorated in Patna on Monday (20 January). After about 42 years, a two-day All India Presiding Conference is being held in Patna. However, before attending this conference, Vasudev Devnani's health deteriorated. When Vasudev Devnani was in the hotel, at around 5 am, he got chest pain. After this, he was admitted to IGIC of PMCH. Currently, his condition is stable and he is admitted. However, he will be sent back to Rajasthan. Arrangements are being made to send him.

Bihar Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav said that Vasudev Devnani was feeling uneasy. After this he was sent to the hospital. There is no such thing as a heart attack. On the other hand, the treating doctor told ABP News over the phone that all the reports are normal.
Om Birla inaugurated the conference
On the other hand, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla inaugurated the 85th All India Presiding Officers Conference in Patna on 20 January 2025. The theme of this two-day conference is, "75th anniversary of the Constitution: Contribution of Parliament and State Assemblies in strengthening constitutional values". Many opposition leaders including Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Assembly Speaker Nand Kishore Yadav also participated in this conference.
This conference is being held in Bihar after 1982
It is said that when Radha Nandan Jha of Congress was the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly in 1982, presiding officers from all over the country had attended this conference. About 300 guests, including Speakers of 28 states, Chairmen of six Legislative Councils and Speakers of Union Territories, are attending this conference being held today (20 January).
