Hina Khan revealed in June last year that she was suffering from the third stage of breast cancer. The announcement of her cancer shocked her fans. However, the actress has only shown her strong side on social media. Instead of losing hope, she decided to focus on her health and for this she had to give up many projects.

Cancer affected my work

Hina Khan told in a recent interview how her work was affected during the treatment. The actress said in a conversation with the Indian Express, “There were some projects that I was about to start, but after mutual discussion we left it. Cancer was not going to be cured in 2.3 months. It can take a year or even a year and a half. People have deadlines, so they had to replace me. It was difficult for them, but it was okay.”

Hina Khan further said, "I had to leave two projects because at that time it was more important for me to give priority to my health. Being right matters. Initially it affected me but now it does not bother me. I have returned to work. There was a little disturbance which I am handling."
