Jhansi News Today: The Uttar Pradesh government is spending crores of rupees for cow protection, despite this, many cows are dying due to mismanagement in the cow shelters of Jhansi. It is being told that these cows died due to hunger and thirst, whose dead bodies are now being eaten by dogs. Videos of many cow shelters here are going viral on social media. 

The whole matter is of Bangra block of Jhansi district. After the mismanagement in cow shelters came to light, questions are being raised on the intentions of Jhansi administration. This is the situation in Jhansi when the chairman of Gau Seva Aayog in Uttar Pradesh government is Shyam Bihari Gupta, who belongs to Jhansi. 

Gaushala's video goes viral
Shocking videos of Gaushalas of Jhansi are going viral on social media these days. In which it can be seen that somewhere dead cows are found and somewhere their remains are lying. A video of the village head here has also surfaced, in which he can be heard saying that one or two cows die in two to three days. To prevent dogs from attacking the cows, dogs are hanged to death.

The videos going viral on social media are of the cowshed built in village panchayat Patha Kharka of Bangra block. In the viral video, it can be seen that a dead cow is lying in the cowshed, which had many wounds on its body. On the other hand, parts of the cow are also found lying there. 

Gram Pradhan's shocking revelation
Apart from this, in the video going viral, a person is asking the Gram Pradhan Jagdish Prasad Kushwaha. In which the Gram Pradhan says that look sir, there are 446 cows here. One or two cows die every one or three days. When the person asking the question told about a dead cow, he said that it must have been alive till morning. 

The person making the video says that the condition of the dead cow is such that it seems as if it has been eaten by dogs. On this, the village head said that if the dog had come, then these four people would have tried to kill the dog by hanging it. We also have the wire of the bike clutch at our place. If a dog comes from anywhere, we trap it and kill it.

After the matter came to light, Samajwadi Party leader Rohit Singh Paricha has made serious allegations. He says that the condition of cow shelters in the entire district is very bad. The cattle are dying of hunger, they are being given peanut husk to eat. He said that the statement of the village head is very shameful that if a dog enters the cow shelter, it is hanged to death. Rohit Singh has demanded from the government to improve the condition of cow shelters.

Chief Development Officer Junaid Ahmed said that some videos have come to the notice of the Gram Panchayats. One such video is from Pathakharka. In which some things are being told by the Gram Pradhan. Which is being investigated. He said that if any negligence is found there, then action will be taken against the concerned employees.

'50 thousand cows protected'
Referring to the grant received from the government, Chief Development Officer Junaid Ahmed said that Rs. 50 per day is being given to the cow shelters for each cow. About 50 thousand cows are protected. He said that sufficient funds are being given to the secretary and village head for the food of the cows living in the cow shelter.

Chief Development Officer Junaid Ahmed directed that the concerned people should provide green fodder to the cows. Despite the facilities being provided by the government, if any disorder is found then strict action will be taken. He said that adequate arrangements have been made including bonfires to protect the cows from cold. If there is a case of negligence anywhere, then an investigation will be conducted there.
