
Rajasthan News: The government has given important information related to MSP for the farmers of Rajasthan. Registration will start from April 1 to sell gram and mustard crops across the state at the minimum support price (MSP). After registration, the purchase work will also start from April 10. This time it is proposed to purchase 13.89 lakh tonnes of mustard and 6.30 lakh tonnes of gram in the state.
Giving information, Gautam Kumar Dak, Minister of State for Cooperation in the state government, said that all preparations have been started by the state government for the purchase of mustard and gram at the support price in the upcoming Rabi season 2025-26. He said that farmers will be able to register through e-Mitra from April 1 for the sale of mustard and gram at the support price.
Procurement work will start from April 10.
Procurement work by the government will start from April 10. This year, along with the nodal agency Nafed, NCCF will also purchase pulses and oilseeds through Rajfed in the state. For this, 217-217 purchase centers have been approved for NCCF and 288-288 for Nafed for mustard and gram. Thus, a total of 505-505 purchase centers for mustard and gram have been approved in the state, whose district-wise list has been released.
The MSP of mustard is fixed at Rs.5950 and that of gram at Rs.5650.
The Minister of State said that the procurement work will be done by NCCF in 19 districts of Rajfed regional offices in Ajmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner and Kota, and by Nafed in 21 districts of Rajfed regional offices in Jaipur, Udaipur, Ganganagar and Bharatpur region. He said that for the coming season the Government of India has fixed the support price of mustard at Rs.5950 per quintal and the support price of gram at Rs.5650 per quintal.
