Prayagraj News: A sensational case of a resident doctor of a medical college committing suicide in his car has come to light in Sangam city Prayagraj. The body of the doctor was found in suspicious condition on the driving seat inside the car. Two vials and a syringe of Neovec injection used for anesthesia have also been recovered from the other seat of the car. It is suspected that the doctor committed suicide using this injection. 

However, no suicide note has been recovered from the car or the doctor. The police is investigating the entire case. According to the officers, prima facie the case appears to be of suicide, but a conclusion can be reached only after the investigation and postmortem report comes out. According to the information, Dr. Kartikeya Srivastava, who committed suicide by injecting himself in the car, had a problem in the veins of his leg. Due to this, he was unable to stand for long and he started having problems. Due to this, he was often in depression. It has been reported that he also had a problem in his nervous system. It is suspected that the doctor committed suicide due to this reason.

What is the matter
Dr Kartikeya Srivastava, originally from Kotdwar district of Uttarakhand, was studying PG second year in Motilal Nehru Medical College, Prayagraj. He was on duty in the orthopedic department of Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital run by the medical college. He lived in a rented room near the medical college. Doctor Kartikeya Srivastava, who was only 27 years old, was not married yet. 

He had married his jail superintendent sister from Prayagraj last year. Late on Saturday night, a doctor returning after finishing his duty saw that Dr. Kartikeya Srivastava was lying inside his car in the hospital parking lot. There was no movement in the car. The police was immediately informed about this. The body of the doctor was on the driving seat of the car. Two vials of injections given for anesthesia and a syringe were also lying on the seat next to him.

 

Investigation of the case is going on.
The doctors of the hospital first gave CPR to Kartikeya Srivastava and then he was put on ventilator, but there was no movement in the body. In a short while, many senior police officers reached the spot along with forensic and fingerprint experts. Police is investigating the case. The doctor's family members have also been informed. According to DCP City Abhishek Bharti, who reached the spot, the doctor's body has been sent for post-mortem. 

The matter is being investigated. Only after the post-mortem and investigation report comes out, we can conclude what is the real cause of death and if the doctor has committed suicide, then what was the reason for it. Anyway, the incident of the resident doctor committing suicide inside the car has created a stir in the Medical College and Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital.
