Prayagraj News: Big news has come out for the devotees going from Sangam city Prayagraj to visit and worship at Mata Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu. The Modi government at the Center has given a big gift to the devotees of Prayagraj and nearby cities. Jammu Mail running from Delhi to Katra in Jammu will now run from Prayagraj to Katra. This daily train will start today on Thursday (5 September) in Prayagraj. Jammu Mail train will run from Subedarganj railway station in Prayagraj. For this, a ceremony will be organized at Subedarganj railway station today. 

BJP MP Praveen Patel will flag off the first journey of the train. The train will leave from Prayagraj's Subedarganj station at 10:35 am. The train will reach Katra at around 7:30 am. The extension of this train will provide great relief to the devotees going to Mata Vaishno Devi Dham from Prayagraj. Many other guests including BJP MLA Siddharth Nath Singh will also attend the inauguration ceremony. Today, on the very first day, this train will leave Prayagraj fully booked. Seats of all classes have already been booked.

There was a long standing demand of the people.

Let us tell you that people of Prayagraj and nearby districts go to Mata Vaishno Devi Dham for darshan. Due to a large number of devotees visiting Mata's Dham, there were always problems with train tickets. Due to which many people were not able to go to Mata's Darbar for darshan. Due to this, there was a demand for running a daily train from Prayagraj to Mata Vaishno Devi for years. Which has now been approved by the Railway Board. Now the train has started directly from Prayagraj to Vaishno Devi Dham Katra.
